About Me

I was born in 1965 and went to school in Billericay, Essex and moved to the Gravesend area when I was 18.

I completed 30 years working within the public sector.

Having taken early retirement I am able to provide what I believe is an important service, that of Independent Celebrant. My first service was in March 2015. I have conducted over 1000 funeral services and my first wedding was in July 2023!

I am involved in voluntary work locally, helping children at Ifield School by assisting in management of their woodland. I am  a keen skier and have been a volunteer instructor with Disability Ski Club UK for many years.

I am Chair of trustees of The St Thomas's Almshouses in Gravesend. www.pinnocks.org  and The Sir John Sedley Fund,a historic fund set up to give out small grants. 

For recreation I have play cricket for Detling Cricket Club, I am a beekeeper and enjoy most sports.

I am married and have two children who have recently graduated from University and are working in the education sector.
