I was born in 1965 and went to school in Billericay, Essex and moved to the Gravesend area when I was 18. I am married with two children. I completed 30 years working within the public sector. Having taken early retirement I am able to provide what I believe is an important service, that of Independent Celebrant.
I am involved in voluntary work locally, helping children at Ifield School by assisting in management of their woodland. I am a keen skier and have been a volunteer instructor with Disability Ski Club UK for 8 years.
Gravesham Community Leisure Limited (GCLL)is a not for profit, Industrial Provident Society which manages Cascades , Cygnet and Swanscombe Leisure Centres: I am Vice Chairman of the Management Board which is a voluntary post.
The Sir John Sedley Fund is a historic fund set up to give out small grants. I am a signatory and decision maker in relation to the fund.
I have played cricket for Northfleet Cricket Club for 30 years and continue to do so.
I am married and have two teenage children.
